Location: Folkestone

Rate: £350 - £420 per day (Negotiable via CIS)

Working Pattern: Fully Site-Based (07:30 - 17:00)

Project Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead a civil engineering package at a live port facility in Folkestone. The scope includes superstructure demolition at a viaduct end, basement infill, concrete/drainage reinstatement, Passenger Boarding Bridge (SPBB) removal, new foundations, and temporary works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming & Risk: Develop master schedules, manage 3-week lookaheads, and drive risk mitigation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Main point of contact for the client, port operations, and third parties.
  • Commercial & Procurement: Manage subcontractor procurement, site performance, and commercial control.
  • Site Management & QA: Oversee design management, Quality Assurance, site teams, and strict CDM 2015/H&S compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing civil engineering schemes in ports, infrastructure, or utilities.
  • Strong background in CDM 2015, subcontractor management, and commercial delivery.
  • Civil Engineering Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience.
  • CSCS Card & First Aid (Temporary Works / Lifting qualifications desirable).
