We are seeking a high-caliber German Speaking Payroll Specialist to join a world-class Business Services team. This is not a standard processing role; you will be a subject matter expert ensuring compliance in Europe’s most complex legislative environment. While this starts as a contract, the intent is to become a long-term team member for a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Processing: Manage payroll cycles for multiple German sites, ensuring 100% accuracy and strict adherence to SOx controls.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal employees and external agencies regarding German tax, social security, illness insurance, and pension queries.
- Compliance & Audit: Navigate complex German legislation to ensure all filings are correct and lead the preparation for payroll audits.
- Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement projects to streamline document workflows and SAP procedures.
- Stakeholder Management: Attend virtual and occasional on-site meetings in Germany to provide payroll consultancy and support to local management.
Technical Requirements
