I have an urgent requirement for a Senior Commercial Manager for one of my long-standing Tier One main contractor clients on a Defence framework in the Suffolk area. Projects will range from c.Β£25m to c.Β£250m and on the NEC contract, so strong NEC contract knowledge is essential. Experience within the Defence sector is preferable, though not essential, as the client will also consider experience across other sectors eg Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Education, Prisons etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Commercial across one or more framework projects, reporting into the Commercial Director and managing QSs on each project, from preconstruction/procurement all the way through the process including variations, valuations, cost reporting, payments and final accounts.
- Deal both upstream with the client and downstream with subcontractors/supply chain, as well as with site teams.
Location / Working Arrangement
The role will primarily be site-based in and around the Suffolk area with some flexibility regarding hybrid working - lodge and subsistence may also be paid as required.
