About the Role: We are currently recruiting a skilled labourer with proven drylining and pre-boarding experience for a long-term contract on a brand-new residential housing development in Driffield. Working alongside the site management team and carpentry trades, you will play a key role in preparing timber frame and traditional build plots by tackling pre-boarding, tacking plasterboard, and ensuring plots are ready for follow-on trades and plasterers. Key Responsibilities: Pre-boarding, tacking plasterboard to walls, ceilings, timber studwork, and joists across active plots. Measuring, cutting, and fitting plasterboard accurately around fixtures, openings, and pipework. Assisting sub-contractors with moving drylining materials, insulation, and timber onto active plots. Ensuring all insulation and vapour barriers are installed neatly prior to boarding. Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised, clearing off-cuts and assisting with general site housekeeping. What We Are Looking For: Valid CSCS Card (Essential - Blue Skilled Worker card preferred). Strong background in drylining, plasterboarding, or pre-boarding on new build housing sites. Own hand tools and cordless tools (screw gun, board saw, tape measure, level, knife). Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/vest, steel toe cap boots). High standard of workmanship, attention to detail, and a reliable work ethic. Based in or easily commutable to Driffield (Hull, Beverley, or Scarborough areas).
