Duties
- Vehicle Operation & Transport: Safely driving and maneuvering a long-wheelbase/large company van to transport materials, tools, and goods efficiently between local sites.
- Rip-Out & Demolition Support: Assisting with the manual strip-out of legacy kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring components are dismantled safely.
- Waste Management & Disposal: Loading heavy site rubbish, debris, and stripped materials onto the van and responsible for transporting and unloading them at the local commercial tip.
- Heavy Lifting & Manual Handling: Carrying out physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading heavy items, appliances, units, and site materials daily.
- General Site Labouring: Maintaining high housekeeping standards across sites by clearing walkways, assisting trades, and ensuring health and safety compliance.
Candidate Requirements
- CSCS Card: Must hold a valid, active CSCS card to clear site inductions.
- Driving Experience: Minimum of 3 years of driving experience, with proven confidence handling and parking large/commercial vehicles.
- Licence Status: Must hold a valid, clean UK Driving Licence.
- Physical Fitness: Highly physically fit and comfortable undertaking repetitive heavy lifting and manual handling duties.
- Attitude: A reliable, punctual team player with a proactive approach to supporting multiple local sites.
