Are you a vigilant and professional traffic marshall looking for the security of a long-term contract? We are seeking a dedicated individual to manage site logistics and vehicle safety for a major ongoing project at Catterick Garrison.
The Role:
- Managing the entry and egress of all construction traffic, ensuring all drivers follow base-specific security protocols.
- Safely directing HGVs, plant machinery, and delivery vehicles within restricted and often high-traffic areas.
- Maintaining strict segregation between heavy vehicle routes and personnel/pedestrians at all times.
- Liaising with Site Management and Base Security to coordinate delivery timings and prevent congestion at the Garrison gates.
- Acting as a key representative for the site, maintaining a professional and authoritative manner when dealing with drivers and military personnel.
Role Requirements:
- A valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman ticket and a CSCS Card are mandatory.
- The successful candidate must undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks. A valid passport and clean criminal record are typically required.
- Proven experience in traffic management, ideally on large-scale infrastructure or high-security projects.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and a "safety-first" mindset.
- Punctuality is critical due to strict military site hours.
- Must have your own full Personal Protective Equipment.
