Randstad have an exciting opportunity for a Freelance Site Engineer / setting out engineer to work on a Rail Project in Cardiff, Wales for 1 year plus. You will be working on Civils, with Buildings/Architecture elements. Rail experience is necessary. PTS is ideal but not essential.
Duties will include:
- Set out lines and levels using Total Stations and GPS.
- Interpret 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models to extract accurate coordinate data.
- QA - Conduct as-built surveys and quality checks to ensure construction met design tolerances.
- Liaison with site agents, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve technical queries and design clashes.
- Maintain strict adherence to site health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Rate is inside IR35- Circa £(Apply online only) a day DOE.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
