Job Title:Building Services officer Pay: £12 per hour ASAP to Long term Hours: 07:30 – 15:30 Mon – Friday 08:30 – 15:00 – Sat 09:30 – 15:00 Sun (covering 5 days over 7) Location – Chester Main Duties include: Maintenance: Performing minor repairs, such as replacing light fittings, painting, and plumbing Building inspections: Carrying out routine building inspections and reporting issues Security: Monitoring CCTV, patrolling the building, and ensuring health and safety Parking: Managing parking for visitors, contractors, and colleagues Access control: Controlling access to the building and to parking areas Opening and closing: Opening and closing the building at the start and end of the working day Advice: Offering general advice on council services Maintenance contracts: Determining the most appropriate maintenance contracts for specific installations Energy efficiency: Advising on ways to improve operational energy efficiency Maintenance programs: Assisting with the preparation and updating of maintenance programs A building services officer may also be responsible for: Pre-inspections, Assigning budgets, Identifying deficiencies and solutions, Communicating instructions to customer services, and Evaluating the standards of maintenance activities Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
