Randstad are recruiting for a PTS Site/Setting Out Engineer for work on Major Rail Framework based in Bristol/Swindon with a global Tier 1 main contractor. This is a contract position for a minimum term of 6 months paid CIS.
The role will involve setting out and site documentation for geotechnical and drainage upgrade packages on existing Network Rail Assets across the Bristol and Swindon region. A valid driving license and vehicle are required due to the remote nature of site locations. IRATA Level 1 Rope Access Certification is highly desirable.
Scope of work includes:
- Setting out
- Devegation & Clearance
- Topographic Surveys
- Drainage Surveys
- River bed, Embankment and Water Surveys
- Ground investigation Surveys
- Ecology Surveys
- Site Documentation and QA/QC
Qualifications/Tickets:
- PTS, CSCS
- Degree in Civil Engineering or HNC/HND Equivalent
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
