Would you be interested in working for one of the UK's most renowned Sub-contractors? This role is project based, working as part of a small team on an 8m Groundworks/Demolition scheme. They act as Sub-contractor for the majority of their projects - so in this role you would have exposure to our full breadth of activities throughout a single project life-cycle.
Reporting directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:
- Maximising profit through managing and challenging the efficiency of the integrated in house delivery model
- Ensuring contractual and commercial risks and opportunities are identified and managed
- Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to develop a collaborative relationship with the client so that both parties meet their objectives.
- Working closely with the Project Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure the correct administration of the contract and ensuring that all responsibilities are fulfilled.
About You
- Able to demonstrate a good track record and reputation, performing a similar role in a related sector (Groundworks/Demolition)
- Knowledge and experience of administering either JCT or Bespoke forms of contract
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to provide commercially focused pragmatic solutions
- Structured and organised
