Painter & Decorator (Damp & Mould Specialist) Location: Bracknell Position: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: 35k + Company Van, Fuel Card & Call-Out Options Are you an experienced Painter & Decorator with specialist knowledge in damp, mould, and condensation treatments? We are recruiting for a reputable leading housing and maintenance provider looking for a customer-focused Painter & Decorator / Specialist Operative to join their reactive and planned maintenance team in the region. You will deliver high-quality damp remediation, ventilation surveys, and associated decorating works directly in occupied residential properties, taking pride in leaving homes safe, clean, and right the first time. What You'll Be Doing: Carrying out specialist mould treatments, ventilation surveys, and associated decorating works. Delivering a high-quality, "right-first-time" service inside customers' homes. Keeping residents informed throughout the process, providing an excellent customer service experience. Managing materials efficiently and ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. Working collaboratively with office schedulers, supervisors, and site colleagues to improve living conditions across the housing portfolio. What We Are Looking For: Proven background as a Painter & Decorator with hands-on experience in damp, mould, or stain-blocking treatments. A positive, reliable, and customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills. NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Painting & Decorating (or Time-Served equivalent). Full UK Driving Licence (essential). Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota. You will need to supply your own basic hand and power tools (all large equipment/specialist gear provided).
