Job Description

Maintenance Surveyor opportunity for large social housing provider.\\n\\nDue to increased workload, a large social housing provider have a requirement for a response repairs surveyor on a permanent basis.\\n\\nAs a Maintenance Surveyor, your role will be to inspect and assess the condition of buildings and infrastructure, create maintenance plans, and oversee the execution of maintenance and repair works. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all properties and facilities are well-maintained, comply with relevant regulations, and operate efficiently.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\nProperty Inspections:\\n\\nConduct regular inspections of buildings, facilities, and infrastructure to assess their condition and identify maintenance requirements.\\nDocument and report findings, including defects, deficiencies, and areas for improvement.\\nPrioritise maintenance tasks based on urgency, safety, and impact on operations.Budgeting and Cost Control:\\n\\nAssist in the preparation of maintenance budgets.\\nMonitor and control maintenance expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.\\nIdentify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality and safety.\\nCompliance and Regulations:\\n\\nStay up-to-date with relevant regulations, codes, and standards pertaining to building maintenance and safety.\\nEnsure compliance with statutory requirements and industry best practices.\\nConduct risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation measures.\\nStakeholder Collaboration:\\n\\nCollaborate with internal teams, including property management, operations, and finance, to ensure effective coordination of maintenance activities.\\nLiaise with external stakeholders, such as contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.\\nRespond to maintenance-related inquiries and provide technical advice and guidance as needed.\\nReporting and Documentation:\\n\\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.\\nPrepare reports and presentations on maintenance performance, highlighting key metrics and recommendations for improvement.\\nContribute to the development of maintenance policies, procedures, and guidelines.For more information please contact Russ on (phone number removed)\\n\\nRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
