Established civil engineering subcontractor seeking an experienced Groundworks Gang (3-4 Person) for an immediate start on a commercial project in Billingham. Long-term work available for the right team.

Required Gang Setup

  • 1x Gang Leader / Working Foreman (SSSTS / SMSTS preferred)
  • 1x Skilled Groundworker
  • 1x Machine Operator (CPCS / NPORS - 360 Excavator & Dumper)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deep drainage, pipe laying, and manhole construction
  • Ducting, slab laying, kerbing, and edge restraints
  • Foundation work, concrete pouring, and site finishing
  • Operating 360 excavators and forward-tipping dumpers safely and efficiently

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS cards and relevant CPCS/NPORS tickets for plant operators
  • Full set of own hand tools and standard PPE
  • Proven track record working as a cohesive gang (references required)
  • Strong commitment to site health and safety standards

Package & Pay

  • Location: Billingham, TS23
  • Rates: Competitive hourly/daily rates (negotiable based on experience and tickets)
