We are seeking a reliable Mobile Maintenance Operative to support a major government contract. You will travel between sites to deliver essential fabric repairs and reactive maintenance, ensuring all facilities remain safe and high-performing.
CORE MAINTENANCE:
- Execute fabric repairs: carpentry, plumbing, flooring, and re-decoration.
- Conduct specialized checks: Fire Door inspections and Fire Door furniture repair.
- Manage Water Hygiene: L8 compliance, tap temperature monitoring, and flushing.
- Perform general upkeep: AHU filter changes, lamping, and drainage clearance.
- Act as first responder for emergency leaks, blockages, and make-safe tasks.
- Supervise subcontractors and update CAFM (Maximo) via mobile devices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in Carpentry, Plumbing, or Painting (NVQ level preferred).
- Knowledge of Fire Door maintenance and Legionella control.
- Professional attitude for a client-facing mobile role; full UK driving license.
- Ability to participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
