The Opportunity
Are you a skilled Plumber looking for a stable role with a leading property services provider? We are currently seeking two dedicated Plumbers to join our team based in Basildon. In this role, you will be delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance within domestic settings, primarily working with social housing and local authority residents. We are looking for professionals who take pride in their work and are comfortable providing excellent customer service directly to the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out plumbing repairs and planned maintenance within domestic properties.
- Multi-Skilling: Demonstrate competence beyond your core trade, assisting with minor building work, drainage, and occasional groundworks where required.
- Digital Workflow: Receive and complete tasks using a company-provided handheld device (full training provided).
- Safety & Efficiency: Work safely in all weather conditions, adhering to H&S regulations to ensure a "right first time" experience for the customer.
- Call-outs: Participate in an out-of-hours rota to handle emergency repairs.
About You
You are a reliable tradesperson with a background in social housing or local authority maintenance. You can follow both written and verbal instructions and are comfortable operating small hand tools in various environments.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualifications: City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
- Certification: JIB-PMES CSCS Blue Card (or currently working towards one).
- Driving Licence: Valid UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
- Experience: Proven experience in a domestic maintenance or similar trade role.
