We are urgently recruiting a couple of Site / Section Engineers (Setting Out) to join a tier-one main contractor on a high-profile aviation infrastructure programme based in Oxfordshire. This is an immediate, fast-tracked start offering massive earning potential with structured overtime rates.
The Role
- Setting Out: Executing precise dimensional control and setting out for airfield infrastructure, heavy paving, or civils packages.
- Overtime: Standard days are capped at 10 hours; any hours worked over this, plus Saturdays (1.2x) and Sundays (1.4x), attract enhanced overtime rates.
- QA & Documentation: Managing ITPs, as-builts, and daily site records to ensure strict compliance with defence and design specifications.
- Workforce Management: Supervising direct labor and specialist sub-contractors on the ground.
Essential Requirements
- Project Sector Background: Proven site experience working on highways, or heavy paving/concrete projects is essential.
- Nationality & Clearance: Ideally a British National holding (or able to pass) BPSS clearance due to the secure nature of the facility.
- Site Ready: Valid CSCS card, relevant engineering qualification, and proficiency with modern surveying/setting-out equipment.
- Availability: Available for an ASAP start.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
