What you'll actually be doing day-to-day:
- You’ll travel to various client premises to competently undertake technical asbestos inspections and testing.
- You’ll manage abatement schemes, ensuring everything aligns with legislative guidance, LARC, PoW, and internal RAMs.
- You’ll liaise directly with clients and licensed removal operatives to successfully complete four-stage clearances and site re-occupations.
- You’ll produce highly accurate, factual test reports, method statements, and site plans.
- You will help train up newer staff, provide proactive feedback to management on site conditions, and offer clear, impartial advice to build strong client relationships.
- You’ll stay on top of your own quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) schemes and take proper care of your allocated vehicle and equipment.
What you need to bring to the table:
- Must hold a BOHS P403/P404 (or the RSPH equivalent) and have valid site access accreditations, like a CSCS card.
- Highly desirable: BOHS P406, S301, or a Certificate of Competence in Asbestos (CoCA).
- A background of solid, hands-on experience performing analytical duties across different site environments.
- Highly methodical mentality, comfortable working under your own initiative, and armed with a flexible, problem-solving 'can-do' attitude.
