Account Director – FM Hard Services
Central London
Up to £80,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

An exceptional opportunity to join a leading facilities management company as an Account Director, overseeing a prestigious client with multiple sites across Central London.

Role Overview:

As Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing and strengthening relationships with the client and key stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing outstanding operational leadership, ensuring the seamless daily management of the contract. A strong technical background is essential for this position.

This multi-site Hard Services FM contract covers seven locations across Central London. Given the nature of the contract, you will be expected to be on-site regularly, allocating your time accordingly.

With a team of around 20 employees, including four direct reports, you will benefit from a well-established and loyal workforce offering strong support. The contract is currently performing at its highest level since inception, fostering a positive client relationship and high levels of employee satisfaction and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Full P&L management and accountability for financial performance
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
  3. Set, monitor, and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  4. Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure continued success
  5. Identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within the contract
  6. Oversee SHEQ compliance (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality)

Maintaining a strong, collaborative relationship with the client is your primary responsibility. You will work closely with them to ensure an effective partnership.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Proven success in managing FM contracts of similar scale within Hard Services
  2. Technical expertise is essential
  3. Previous leadership experience in FM, Building Services, or Engineering
  4. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the Facilities Management sector
  5. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  6. Highly commercially aware with strong business acumen
  7. Driven, hardworking, and committed to excellence
