We are seeking dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team across the North East locality, specifically covering key areas in Cumbria. In this role, you aren't just "working a shift"-you are providing a stable, nurturing environment for children with emotional and behavioral needs (EBD), helping them build a brighter future.

Locations:

  • Carlisle & Penrith
  • Wigton
  • Workington
  • Kendal

Competitive Pay Rates:

  • Day Shift: £15.35 per hour
  • Waking Night: £16.88 per hour
  • Sleep-in Allowance: £63.04 (Flat rate)

Flexible Shift Patterns:

  • Days: 08:00 - 20:00
  • Waking Nights: 20:00 - 08:00
  • Days with Sleeps: 10:00 - 23:00 (followed by sleep-in) and finishing 08:00 - 10:00 the following morning.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven Experience: You must demonstrate a background working specifically within Residential Children's Homes and supporting children who have experienced trauma and exhibit challenging behaviors.
  • Reliability & Flexibility: You should be available for both day and night shifts and be willing to travel up to 1 hour to various homes within the locality.
  • Right to Work: You must have the Right to Work in the UK for full-time hours (we cannot accept applicants with 20-hour visa restrictions).
  • Transport: Being a car driver is highly preferred to manage travel across Cumbria, though not strictly essential.
