The predicted salary is between 60000 - 60000 £ per year.

Location: The Guildhall, Swansea (Hybrid - office-based with flexibility, visits to be completed in a timely manner)

Contract: Initially until the end of December, with the possibility of extension until March

Pay: £30.50 per hour (PAYE) / £38.43 per hour (Umbrella) - in line with the ADSS All Wales Pledge

Randstad is partnering with Swansea Council to recruit a Social Worker for the Children's Access Point (CAP) Assessment Team, working at the front door of children's services to complete timely assessments and safeguard children.

As a Social Worker within the CAP Assessment Team, you will:

  • Undertake statutory assessments of children and families following referrals into Children's Services.
  • Analyse risk and need to inform decision-making and next steps.
  • Manage a caseload effectively within a hybrid working model.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience within children's services, ideally in assessment or safeguarding roles.
  • Registered with Social Care Wales.
  • A current and valid DBS check.
