Job Title: Care Support Worker
Pay Rate: £15-17/hr
Location: Perth (PH1 / PH2)
Position: Temporary – Full-Time
Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for a rewarding full-time role in Perth? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join a specialized residential team supporting four adults with profound learning disabilities and epilepsy. This is a vital role within a 24-hour service where your expertise in clinical and physical support will directly enhance the quality of life for those we care for.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Administering medication and nutrition via PEG feeding.
- Physical Assistance: Utilizing Moving and Handling equipment and techniques to ensure safety and comfort.
- Personal Care: Providing dignified and comprehensive personal care.
- Epilepsy Management: Monitoring and responding to seizure activity with confidence and care.
Shift Patterns
- Shifts: A mix of Early, Late, and Long Day shifts.
- Hours: Full-time hours (approx. 35-40 hours per week).
- Flexibility: Candidates must be available for a variety of patterns to ensure service continuity.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience working with individuals with profound learning disabilities and epilepsy is essential.
- Technical Skills: Validated experience in PEG feeding and Moving and Handling is required.
- Driving: A clean UK Driving License is required (unless you are local enough to the Perth service to guarantee commute reliability for all shift times).
