Are you a committed Qualified Social Worker? Do you have a passion for providing first-class support to Children's Services? We have a fantastic Locum Social Work Opportunity based within a Duty and Assessment Team in the Rochdale area. You will be working alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing an effective, child-centred service to children in need of support and protection.

Responsibilities:
- Responding to new referrals from professionals and members of the public
- Signposting people to other agencies or completing an assessment of need, investigating allegations so that children/young people are protected from harm
- Managing a varied and complex caseload
- Undertaking Court Work
- Writing concise, fit-for-purpose reports/court statements
- Working well within a team and with external agencies
To be considered for the Social Worker ideally you will have:
- Experience of working in a 'Children's Duty and Assessment' team (desirable)
- SWE registration
- BSc Social Work or equivalent
