Do you have experience supporting vulnerable young people? Are you looking for a role that will allow you to feel fulfilled and challenged? Well look no further than right here. Randstad are working with a reputable client in the Angus area. They are dedicated to protecting and improving the well-being of young people (ages 10-18) in their care. The aim is to maximise their potential and resilience, helping them smoothly transition back into their communities. These are boys and girls who have faced significant adverse childhood experiences, leading to complex needs and vulnerabilities.

About the role:

You will have the opportunity to make a profound difference in the journey of the young people we serve. You will work through Randstad as part of the team in this service. Using a person-centred approach, you will provide enabling support to ensure the highest level of physical, personal, and emotional care. You will encounter new challenges unique to this service and develop your professional experience. Without judgement for the circumstances that have brought the young people into remand, you will safeguard them and prepare them for what they are facing next and the reality of their situation.

  • Day shifts 07:30-22:30 with a 1 on, 2 off shift pattern
  • Night shifts 22:00 - 08:00 with a 5 on, 5 off shift pattern

About you:

We are seeking candidates who share our passion for working with young people with complex behaviours. Commitment to a 1 on 2 off working pattern. Due to the nature of the role driving is essential. SVQ 3 or equivalent is desirable.
