We offer part-time and full-time shifts which can be booked through our app or by catching up with your own dedicated consultant.
Randstad is working to support a respite service supporting children and their families with complex learning and physical disabilities. This is a rewarding service to work in, taking young people out of their regular routine to relax and enjoy themselves in a safe and nurturing environment. This contract is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent.

A successful child support worker will be responsible for:
- Working effectively as part of a team of child support workers
- Providing 24 hours care to vulnerable young people
- Providing personal care to children
- Administering medication
- Promoting a positive parenting role model
- Ensuring professional boundaries are in place
- Maintaining a professional manner and working to National Care Standards
To be successful in your application, you will:
- Have previous experience working in a residential setting with young people
- Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
- Have strong communication skills
- Register under the PVG scheme
- Full driving licence (Required)
- Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable
