The predicted salary is between 35 - 35 £ per hour.
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Staff Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you will act as a Primary or Named Nurse, delivering high-quality, compassionate, and person-centered care. You will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans, ensuring the highest standards of evidence-based nursing are maintained to support the health and wellbeing of our service users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care with an emphasis on empathy, kindness, respect, and dignity.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team, families, and carers to promote shared decision-making.
- Safely administer medication in strict adherence to Trust policies and practice guidelines.
- Facilitate and chair multi-disciplinary reviews and ward meetings to ensure effective communication.
- Maintain robust, high-standard clinical records and report on patient progress accurately.
- Contribute to the education and professional development of colleagues and students within the clinical environment.
- Ensure the ward environment remains safe, clean, and compliant with all health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a professional nursing qualification (RMN/RNMH/RNLD).
- Demonstrable commitment to continued professional development.
- Previous experience working within in-patient settings is essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of mental health legislation and its practical application.
- Proven ability to manage clinical risks and act in accordance with legislative policies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict and provide emotional support in challenging environments.
Employment Details:
- Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Working Hours: Long Days (08:00 - 20:00) 4 on 4 off rolling rota.
- Pay rate: £21.00 - £35.00 per hour depending on shift pattern.
