Description
Join a small, family-run business dedicated to providing high-quality care for children and committed to staff growth and development. We are expanding, adding a second children\'s residential home before the end of the year, and are seeking a passionate and driven Registered Manager to join our team in central Carlisle.
- Position: Registered Manager
- Shift: 40 hours per week plus on-call requirements
- Salary: 40,000 starting salary (negotiable based on experience) + annual bonuses based on company performance

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and management for our children\'s residential home(s).
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards (OFSTED).
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of experienced care professionals (working alongside Team Managers).
- Develop and oversee individualized care plans tailored to children\'s needs.
- Foster a nurturing and safe environment focused on emotional well-being and safeguarding.
- Manage resources effectively, overseeing budgets and operational responsibilities.
- Build strong relationships with external agencies, families, and the local community.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of our services.
Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children\'s residential setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OFSTED regulations and quality standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A deep passion for making a positive impact on young people\'s lives.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the changing needs of the home.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage challenging situations.
