Job Title: Registered House Manager - Children's Residential Care
Location: Edinburgh

A leading independent care provider in Edinburgh is seeking a dedicated Registered House Manager to lead a supportive and nurturing home. This is a pivotal role where you will inspire a dedicated team, champion the highest standards of care, and create a safe, positive environment where children can thrive.
About the Role:As the Registered House Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the home's operational success. You will ensure full compliance with the Care Inspectorate and SSSC regulations while fostering a culture of compassion, accountability, and excellence. Your leadership will be key to empowering your staff and delivering exceptional, child-centred care.
Client is Looking For:We are looking for a resilient and emotionally intelligent manager who leads by example. The ideal candidate will be:

- An effective problem-solver, skilled in conflict resolution.
- A compassionate leader, able to mentor and develop staff to their full potential.
- An excellent communicator, confident in engaging with the Care Inspectorate, local authorities, and other agencies.
To be considered, you must have:
- SVQ 4/SCQF Level 9 in Children and Young People and CSLM (or an equivalent qualification that meets SSSC registration requirements).
- A minimum of 2 years of management-level experience within a children's residential setting.
- A total of 5+ years of experience in residential childcare.
- A full, clean UK Driving Licence.
- The ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Edinburgh.
