Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable adults in the criminal justice system?
We're currently working with a local authority in central Manchester Adult Care Services who are committed to providing high-quality support to vulnerable adults across the city. The team are currently looking for passionate, dedicated social workers to join their dedicated team
The Forensic Social Work Team plays a crucial role in assisting individuals involved in the criminal justice system, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support to promote rehabilitation and community reintegration.
- 1 x 35 hours role-5 days per week
- 1 x 28 hours role- 4 days per week
Benefits:
- Salary: £36,124 – £38,626 (+ £2,000 retention payment)

Responsibilities:
- Assess and support individuals involved in the justice system
- Develop intervention plans and provide therapeutic support
- Advocate for clients and collaborate with agencies
- Maintain accurate case records and attend court when needed
To be considered for the Social Worker role, ideally you will have:
- BSc Social Work or equivalent
- Social Work England registration
- Experience of working within a similar forensic/mental health or criminal justice setting
