A successful residential childcare worker will be responsible for:
- Implementing behavioural management techniques and promoting positive social skills.
- Maintaining records of the children's progress and behaviour.
- Advocating for the children's needs and rights.
- Organising activities to promote socialisation.
- Ensuring a safe and clean residential environment.
To be successful in your residential childcare worker application, you will:
- Have previous 6 months prior experience in the UK working in a residential setting with young people aged below 16 years
- Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
- Have strong communication skills
- Register under the PVG scheme
- Full driving license (Required)
- Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable
