We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join established teams across local authorities in South Wales, including Bridgend, Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan, Ceredigion and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within supportive councils offering flexible hybrid working and competitive pay. You'll play a vital role in helping adults maintain independence, enhance their quality of life, and achieve positive outcomes through effective assessment and intervention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for adults with a range of needs
  • Complete manual handling and equipment assessments
  • Carry out home and environmental assessments, recommending suitable adaptations
  • Develop, implement, and review care and support plans
  • Work collaboratively with social workers, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports
  • Ensure all practice aligns with current legislation, policies, and best practice

Requirements

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist
  • Registered with HCPC
  • Experience working with adult services
  • Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
