We are seeking a resilient, compassionate, and organised Deputy Manager to join their leadership team within a residential children's home in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This is a pivotal role where you will support the Service Manager in creating a safe, nurturing environment that empowers young people to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Assuming full responsibility for the service in the manager's absence and providing daily supervision to the staff team.
- Direct Support: Working alongside your team to deliver high-quality care, including undertaking personal care tasks and responding to emergency calls.
- Outcome Management: Developing, reviewing, and observing care plans to ensure every young person's specific needs and goals are met.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Building professional relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and external partners to ensure a holistic approach to care.
