Occupational Therapist - Housing Rehousing Team
Are you a dedicated healthcare professional seeking to make a tangible impact on residents' lives?
We are currently seeking two experienced Locum Occupational Therapists to join a rehousing team on a project basis in the Central Manchester area.
You will play a pivotal role in assessing individuals' needs, identifying suitable housing adaptations, and facilitating positive rehousing outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home-based medical assessments for both adults and children to determine housing priority.
- Provide expert advice on rehousing options and manage complex caseloads to secure appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate property viewings and match applicants to available adapted homes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure housing needs are effectively met.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with current professional registration.
- Proven experience in housing adaptations and home assessments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and caseload management skills.
