Are you an experienced social worker with Kinship experience? Do you have a passion for providing first class support to Children's Services? An exciting opportunity has become available for a Locum Social Worker to join a Kinship Team in the Wythenshawe, Manchester area. You will be based with the Fostering Service, completing kinship assessments for the fostering panel, courts and offering support to kinship foster carers.
Hybrid Working: 2/3 days per week, 1 week in three covering duty, need to be office based.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of kinship caregivers, children and their immediate environment
- Provide support to the kinship caregivers and the children
- Be an advocate for the children and kinship families
- Link kinship caregivers and the children with resources such as education, health care, legal support and financial assistance
To be considered for the Social Worker role:
- 1-3 years experience of working within a similar social work setting
- Diploma/Degree in Social Work
