We are currently seeking reliable Support Workers to join our teams across North and South Lanarkshire. Unlike traditional agency roles, we are looking for a consistent team to provide stable, long-term support to our service users.
The Role
This is a community-based outreach position. You will be traveling to various locations to support individuals in their own homes and within the wider community. Your goal is to promote independence and social inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Living: Assisting with shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Health Support: Providing medication prompts and attending medical appointments.
- Community Engagement: Supporting individuals with social activities and outings.
- Personal Care: Providing personal care support (required in approximately 20% of service visits).
- Independence: Working to empower service users to live as autonomously as possible.
Locations & Shifts
We have vacancies covering both North Lanarkshire (Wishaw, Motherwell, Coatbridge, Airdrie) and South Lanarkshire (Lanark Town, Carluke).
Shift Patterns
- Early: 07:45 - 16:45
- Late: 12:00 - 21:00
- Long Days: Occasional extended shifts as required.
Hours: Primarily full-time schedules.
Duration: Initial 3-month contract with a high likelihood of becoming ongoing/long-term.
Requirements
- Consistency: A commitment to regular shifts to ensure continuity of care.
- Transport: Must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle (essential for outreach travel).
- Experience: Previous experience in support work or homecare is highly desirable.
- Gender Preferences: Due to the specific needs of our service users, we are seeking male staff for our North services, while requirements for the South are flexible.

Pay & Benefits
- Competitive Hourly Rate: £17.50 to 18 PH umbrella (dependent on experience and specific shift).
