In this role, you will provide a stable, nurturing, and safe environment for children and young people who have faced significant challenges. It's about building trust, celebrating small wins, and helping young people navigate their way toward a brighter future.

  • Providing high-quality daily care and support to children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Difficulties.
  • Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour with patience and professional techniques.
  • Assisting with educational goals, life skills, and community outings.
  • Collaborating with social workers, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months of direct experience working within a Children's Residential Home setting.
  • You must have the Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time).
  • Experience supporting young people with EBD and complex needs.
  • An Enhanced DBS (Children & Adults) currently registered on the Update Service.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • A full UK Driving License.
