Home Care Support Worker: Dumfries & GallowayAre you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for helping others? Do you want a rewarding career that offers a direct path to a permanent role and genuine opportunities for growth?We're looking for caring individuals to join our team as Home Care Support Workers within Dumfries, a leading provider of care for older adults across Dumfries & Galloway.This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, meaning you'll start on a temporary basis with the full intention of transitioning into a permanent position.About the RoleAs a Home Care Support Worker, you'll provide vital support to older adults, helping them to maintain their independence and live comfortably in their own homes. The role is varied and involves visiting multiple clients throughout the day.We have a particular need for drivers to cover various locations, including Dumfries, Moffat, Castle Douglas, Kirkitubry, and Locherbie. You will be assigned to a set of clients, typically working a split shift from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM and then returning for an evening shift from 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Both male and female drivers are encouraged to apply.What We Offer

Your Responsibilities Will Include

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a care setting with adults is highly desirable, but we will also consider applications from those with a strong desire to start a career in social care.
- A full driving license is essential due to the nature of the role and the travel required.
- Flexibility in the roles and shifts you can undertake.
- Registration under the PVG scheme (or willingness to register).
- An SVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable, but not required to apply.
