An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Social Worker to join a dedicated Children and Families team in Wick. This contract is for a minimum of 3 months and offers a competitive rate ranging from £40 - £45 per hour, with flexible working patterns and the option of working from home.

Your Responsibilities
- Child Protection: Carrying out investigations and managing high-risk cases to ensure the safety of children.
- Family Placement: Supporting foster care and kinship placements to provide stable environments for young people.
- Caseload Management: Managing your own varied caseload within a busy statutory team.
- Assessments & Reviews: Conducting comprehensive assessments and regular reviews of care plans.
- Report Writing: Producing high-quality reports for Children's Hearings and court proceedings.
Requirements
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
- Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Member of the PVG scheme.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a child protection environment.
