Residential Children's Support Workers Needed
Locations: Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool, & Darlington
Pay Rates: £15.35/hr (Days) | £16.88/hr (Waking Nights) | £63.04 (Sleep-in flat rate)
The Role
Step into a deeply rewarding role supporting children and young people across varied Residential Children's Homes in the Teesside and North East locality. You will provide vital daily care, stability, and guidance to children with emotional and behavioral needs, autism, learning disabilities, and associated challenging behaviors. Every day is an opportunity to help a young person heal from trauma and build a brighter future.
Shift Patterns Available
- Day Shifts: 08:00 - 20:00
- Waking Nights: 20:00 - 08:00
- Days with Sleeps: 10:00 - 22:00 (followed by a sleep-in, finishing the next morning 07:00 - 10:00)
What You Need to Apply (Essential Criteria)
- Proven Experience: Direct, demonstrable experience working specifically within Residential Children's Homes and supporting children who have experienced trauma.
- Mobility: A full UK driving license with access to a car, and a willingness to travel up to 1 hour to various homes across the locality.
- Flexibility: Availability to work a mixture of both day and night shifts as required.
- Right to Work: Full, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK (we cannot accept applicants with 20-hour student visa restrictions for this full-time role).
