Are you a dedicated care professional looking to make a genuine impact on the lives of young people? We are seeking a resilient, empathetic, and proactive Residential Support Worker to join our team in Guildford.
In this role, you will provide a stable, nurturing, and safe environment for children and young people who have faced significant challenges.
- Providing high-quality daily care and support to children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Difficulties.
- Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour with patience and professional techniques.
- Assisting with educational goals, life skills, and community outings.
- Collaborating with social workers, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months of direct experience working within a Children's Residential Home setting.
- You must have the Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time).
- Experience supporting young people with EBD and complex needs.
- An Enhanced DBS (Children & Adults) currently registered on the Update Service.
- A full UK Driving License.
