Randstad is partnering with Swansea Council to recruit a Social Worker for the Children's Access Point (CAP) Assessment Team, working at the front door of children's services to complete timely assessments and safeguard children.
About the Role- Undertake statutory assessments of children and families following referrals into Children's Services.
- Analyse risk and need to inform decision-making and next steps.
- Complete visits, assessments, and reports within statutory timescales.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to promote positive outcomes.
- Manage a caseload effectively within a hybrid working model.
- Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience within children's services, ideally in assessment or safeguarding roles.
- Registered with Social Care Wales.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- A current and valid DBS check.
