Your day-to-day will involve:\\n\\nOffering compassionate support to children with diverse needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges, autism, and learning disabilities.\\nHelping children develop essential life skills and boost their overall well-being.\\nPutting care plans and behaviour management strategies into action, tailored just for them.\\nCreating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for everyone.\\nKeeping accurate records of progress, incidents, and observations – the details matter!\\nWorking hand-in-hand with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure the best holistic care.\\nResponding to challenging behaviours with patience, professionalism, and a whole lot of understanding.\\nUpholding the highest standards of care and championing all safeguarding policies and procedures.\\n\\nWhat You'll Need\\n\\nTo be our next superstar Support Worker, you'll ideally have:\\n\\nA valid full driving licence and a reliable vehicle for getting around the North East.\\nEssential experience working in Residential Children's Homes and supporting children who have experienced childhood trauma.\\nFlexibility to travel up to an hour to Gateshead, Sunderland, Newcastle, or Durham, and availability for both day and night shifts.\\nA commitment to working at least 3 shifts per week.\\nProof of your Right to Work in the UK.\\nUp-to-date mandatory training certificates, PMVA training, and an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.\\nThe ability to provide employment references covering the last 3 years.\\n\\nWhy Join Us?\\n\\nThis isn't just a job; it's a chance to truly impact young lives.
