About the Role

As a Community Support Worker, you will be instrumental in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life within their own homes. You'll provide a range of support services tailored to individual needs, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and support to clients, assisting with daily living activities.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and ensure client well-being.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the wider care team.

Your Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Rotating shifts (Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri) with split shifts (07:30-13:00 & 17:00-21:30). Contract: Average of 35 hours per week. Pay: Weekdays at £12.80/hr, Weekends at £16.80/hr. Overtime Incentives: Additional £25 per dayshift and £35 per backshift. Gender Preference: We are currently seeking female staff due to specific personal care requirements.

  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.
  • Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Candidates must reside within a 30-minute radius of at least one of the service locations (Tayport, St Andrews, or Cupar).
