A successful Child Support Worker will be responsible for:
- Working effectively as part of a specialist team of support providers.
- Providing high-quality, 24-hour care to vulnerable young people.
- Supporting service users dealing with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD).
- Promoting independence by taking service users into the community and to school.
- Maintaining professional boundaries and upholding National Care Standards at all times.
- Working a flexible rota, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods.
To be successful in your application, you will:
- Have previous experience in a residential setting working with young people.
- Display a flexible and adaptable approach to your work.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be registered (or willing to register) under the PVG scheme.
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence (essential for community access).
- Have obtained, or be working towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
