About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the Front Door Assessment / Duty Assessment (FDAA MASH D A) team covering the Fylde Bay Area (Lancaster). In this fast-paced statutory post, you will deliver robust, child-centred interventions, building trusting relationships with families using a trauma-informed, strength-based approach to assess needs and manage safeguarding risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessments Home Visits: Complete timely, structured, and highly analytical assessments while carrying out purposeful home visits and keeping children and families informed at every stage.
- Risk Management Safeguarding: Identify, analyse, and respond swiftly to safeguarding concerns, actively contributing to strategy discussions and Child Protection processes.
- Relational Practice: Build trusting, effective relationships with children and families using trauma-informed approaches.
