We are seeking a high-caliber Qualified Social Worker to join a fast-paced Duty and Assessment Team covering the Central Lancs region, based out of Preston. Operating at the very front door of children's services, you will be the first line of response for families and children in need of immediate support and protection. Key Responsibilities
- Working at the front door of the service, you will manage a fast-turning caseload focused on early intervention and risk mitigation.
- Initial Assessments: Conducting comprehensive, child-centric statutory assessments under Section 17 and Section 47 of the Children Act.
- Crisis Triage: Rapidly evaluating incoming referrals from schools, health professionals, and the public to determine the appropriate level of intervention.
