Your Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure the delivery of high-standard, 24-hour care.
- Oversee the support of service users dealing with emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD) and trauma-informed needs.
- Champion the independence of young people by facilitating access to education and community-based activities.
- Uphold professional boundaries and ensure the service consistently meets or exceeds regulatory requirements.
- Manage and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to foster a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Maintain a flexible approach to leadership, supporting the service across various shifts and holiday periods as required.
What We Need From You
- Experience: A proven track record in a senior or supervisory role within a residential childcare setting.
- Qualifications: SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) is essential, with a willingness to work toward Level 4 or management qualifications.
- Registration: Must be registered with the SSSC (or eligible for registration) and the PVG scheme.
- Mobility: A full UK driving licence is highly preferred to support the needs of the service and the young people.
- Leadership Style: Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to inspire a team.
