Autism Practitioner
We are actively seeking dedicated and compassionate care professionals to join our expanding service in Fife. This is a high-priority, temp-to-perm recruitment initiative, and we are looking to expedite the hiring process for qualified candidates ready to make a meaningful impact. We have six full-time and part-time positions available across community and residential settings in Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, and Cardenden.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, personalized care, ensuring adherence to outcome-based support plans.
- Serve as a Keyworker, facilitating regular meetings and coordinating essential care services.
- Support individuals across varying levels of complexity, utilizing 1:1 and 2:1 staffing ratios.
- Implement reflective, low-arousal support strategies to promote well-being.
- Maintain robust daily records using digital systems to ensure high standards of documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional care experience is highly preferred.
- Active SSSC registration or a demonstrated willingness to work toward relevant qualifications.
- Mandatory membership in the PVG scheme.
- Strong digital literacy for effective record management.
- Alignment with core values of compassion, collaboration, and professional contribution.
What We Offer
Successful candidates will receive a starting rate of £13.45 per hour, increasing to £13.67 post-engagement, with clear progression pathways up to £14.15 per hour. Additionally, we provide £107.60 for every sleepover shift worked.
