In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for effective staff management and activity coordination within our community provision, ensuring professional care delivery for individuals in their own homes.

The Role

  • As a Service Manager, you will lead a team of Team Leaders and Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centered support.
  • You will empower your staff to lead in their areas of responsibility while maintaining operational excellence.

Salary: £27,810 - £29,463 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility required for early starts, evenings, and weekends.

On-Call: Participation in the organizational on-call rota is an essential requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspiring Leadership: Actively manage performance, provide direct supervision, and mentor staff to ensure a person-centered approach.

  • Operational Management: Create effective staff rotas, chair team meetings, and manage sickness and absence in accordance with policy.

  • Health & Safety: Maintain accountability for individual safety by following risk assessments and completing regular fire and health checks.
  • Direct Support: Provide hands-on support worker cover and direct care provision as required.
