Randstad is currently seeking dedicated Residential Children support workers to join our team, supporting various children's residential homes across North Cumbria. The Role
In this role, you will be providing essential emotional and practical support to children and young people who may have faced significant challenges and trauma. Your goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and stable environment where they can thrive.
Competitive Pay: £15.35 - £17.50 per hour (depending on experience and shift type).
Locations available: Carlisle, Wigton, Longtown

- Maintaining accurate daily logs and reports.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in a residential childcare or a similar support setting is essential.
- Resilience: An empathetic nature with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with both children and professional teams.
- Compliance: Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or have one on the update service) and provide full employment references.
