  • A minimum of 6 months of recent UK experience in supporting service users with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.
  • A valid Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorships).
  • An Enhanced child and adult DBS registered on the update service.
  • A valid CSTF Mandatory Practical Training Certificate? (completed within the last 12 months).
  • Employment references covering the last 3 years.

Support Worker – Carlisle

  • Role Summary: You will be supporting an adult male with learning disabilities on a 2:1 basis, helping him live as independently as possible at home and in the community. This role requires the ability to assist with de-escalation when he is feeling frightened.

  • Shift Pattern: 08:00 – 20:00 day shift, followed by a sleep-in, and then a 07:00 – 10:30 shift ; Sleep-ins: £64.98 per shift

Support Worker – Workington

  • Role Summary: This is a 2:1 support package for a young male with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will support him with daily activities in the community as part of his education plan.

  • Shift Pattern: 09:00 – 17:00

  • Pay Rate (PAYE Rolled Up):

    • Weekdays: £15.35/hour

  • Note: A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.

Support Worker – Penrith & Carlisle

  • Role Summary: We have openings in both Penrith and Carlisle. You will provide care and support to adults with a range of needs including learning disabilities, complex needs, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions. The focus is on promoting independence at home and in the community.

  • Shift Pattern: 08:00 – 20:00 day shift, followed by a sleep-in, and then a 07:00 – 10:30 shift; Sleep-ins: £64.98 per shift

  • Note: A driver is preferred due to the rural locations.
